Denver Senior Resources Worth Knowing

Insurance is just one part of getting older well here on the Front Range. This page rounds up the programs and offices Denver seniors ask us about most: benefits counseling, rides, meals, and the hospital systems that shape which Medicare network actually makes sense.

We keep this list handy because the same names come up in nearly every plan review. Don't see what you need? Call and we'll point you to the right office.

  • Medicare and Social Security counseling
  • Senior centers, RTD transit and meal delivery
  • Hospitals and clinics that matter for plan networks

  • Medicare.gov

CMS's official plan finder, plus rules and enrollment windows straight from the source.

  • Social Security Administration, Denver office

Handles retirement and disability filings, Part A and B sign-up, and Extra Help applications.

Senior centers, transit and daily life

Meal delivery and wellness check-ins for homebound seniors throughout the metro.

Hospitals and clinics nearby

  • UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital, Presbyterian/St. Luke's

Verify your hospital before switching plans

Networks reset every plan year. If you're on Medicare Advantage in Denver, double check that Presbyterian/St. Luke's or Rose Medical Center is still covered under the new plan.

You might qualify for lower drug costs

Extra Help and Medicare Savings Programs cut Part D costs for people under certain income limits. We can tell you quickly whether you're likely to qualify.
