Background
How this agency ended up in Medicare work
The agency started after a family member enrolled in a plan that looked great on paper but didn't cover her specialist. Nobody had actually checked. That single afternoon of phone calls is why the first question we ask anyone is who their doctors are.
The job has stayed pretty much the same since: sit down with someone, write out their providers and medications, and price them against the plans we can offer. Some days the honest answer is that the current plan already wins, and we say so.
Medicare's rules come from Washington, but the plans themselves are local. What matters in the Denver metro is which carriers actually hold solid provider networks here, and which one quietly dropped a clinic last contract year.
